One-day intensive workshops

A 2.5-hour private ceramics session to work on your own project, learn new techniques, or try ceramics for the first time.

Sessions are private and tailored to your level and interests. No previous experience or specific project is required.

What can you learn?

You can choose between handbuilding or pottery wheel.

Handbuilding

We’ll work with different techniques, adapting the session to the project you’d like to make. You can learn:

• Slab and coil building
• Pinching and hollowing techniques
• Handbuilding and shaping forms
• Joining and finishing pieces
• Surface decoration and techniques
• Applying slips
• Refining and preparing pieces for firing

You can come with a specific idea, or we can develop a project together during the session.

Pottery Wheel

You can also learn the basics of the pottery wheel, from preparing the clay to throwing and finishing your pieces.

Wheel sessions are available exclusively as one-to-one classes and are suitable for ages 15 and over.

One or two sessions?

You can book a single session to create your piece, or choose two sessions to develop your project over more time.

During the first session, we’ll focus on creating and building the piece. Once it has dried and been bisque-fired, you can come back for a second session to learn how to glaze and decorate it in more detail, exploring different finishes.

Prices

For groups of 4 or more people, a 15% discount is offered on the price per person.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

To confirm your booking, payment for one session (€55) is required.

The booking payment is non-refundable.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so with at least 48 hours’ notice. In this case, the amount paid will be kept as credit to use towards a new date, subject to availability.

Classes cancelled or missed with less than 48 hours’ notice cannot be rescheduled or made up.

You can collect your pieces from the workshop 3 to 4 weeks after the class, as they dry slowly and are fired twice to ensure a good finish.
